The position Preparing general purpose financial statements on a consolidated basis; Preparing monthly financial management accounts and reports; Supervising and maintenance of company general ledgers, banking and cashflow; Prepare and lodge BAS, FBT, payroll tax and fuel tax Maintaining and developing company accounting policies and procedures and administering approved accounting standards; Preparing 3 way budget, profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow; Co-operating with external auditors and the preparation of the schedules for the half yearly review and annual audit; Ensuring that all the accounting and taxation transactions comply with current legislation. About you Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field CPA/CA qualified (or near completion) Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role Australian Citizenship or Permanent Resident status Impeccable verbal and written communication skills A strong eye for detail and the ability to follow up. Great organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and work efficiently.
